The Health Perception Model (HBM) is a emotional model that attempts to clarify and forecast health behaviours. This is done by focusing on the attitudes and beliefs of people. The HBM was first created in the 1950s by social specialists Hochbaum, Rosenstock and Kegels working in the U. H. Public Health Solutions.
