ABSTRACT

In the present world, connection has got various applications including telephonic conversations etc . in which the messages happen to be encoded in to the communication route and then solving it with the receiver end. During the transfer of meaning, the data could easily get corrupted as a result of lots of disorders in the communication channel. Therefore it is necessary for the decoder tool to also have a function of correcting the error that may occur. Reed Solomon rules are sort of burst problem detecting rules which has acquired many applications due to its burst error diagnosis and static correction nature. My personal aim of the project should be to implement this kind of reed Solomon codes within a VHDL test bench waveform and also to analyse the mistake probability that is certainly occurring during transmission.
