Paulo Freire believes that education is affected by narration sickness. He outlines his opinion that professors deposit info into the college students and they memorize and regurgitate the information on command. In the process the students are undoubtedly being oppressed, like slaves. He feels the system is a big mechanised machine, which, he describes as the banking program. It is a system that views students as mere obnoxious objects. A process that does not promote creativity or perhaps thinking creatively. Every bit of knowledge and power is within the educators. He efforts to berate the entire educational system in Brazil. Piece of art teachers just like kings and students while narrow minded souls whom simply exist in their created world. As though, the instructors provocatively support the knowledge in the students heads and the college students writhe in discomfort, eager to obtain any ounce of material that their kings include chosen to bestow upon them. If Freire were to be reading his document aloud, it appears as if a person could physically see the venom taken from his mouth. Ultimately, Freire would like to get a system in which the learning is more balanced and fluid. Teachers need to have the mindset they can learn all the from the students as the students can learn from them.
