The Light weight aluminum Company of America (Alcoa) began their company in 1888 under the name of the Pittsburg Reduction Business. In 1907, they transformed their identity to Alcoa and from its inception they had a very good value based culture. Inside the very beginning of their work all employers discovered everything that they made and did needed to be aligned with the company's principles. Alcoa likewise had primary standards for all those workers and their management believed that " no staff should be required to work in a setting where their very own safety or maybe the safety of other employee's might be jeopardized” (Lawrence & Weber, pg. 120). The emphasis of safety a new deep and important meaning to Alcoa's management team as they cared deeply about their employees.
